MEET THE CANDIDATE
I'm a mother of two, a wife, and a proud member of the Nuevo community. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, a Master's degree in Social Work, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience supporting families through some of their toughest challenges.
Nuevo isn't just where I live; it's where I'm raising my own children, and where I'm committed to building a school system every family can trust.

As a parent of two students in the Nuview School District, I share the same hopes, questions, and concerns as so many families in our community. I know what it means to look for guidance, and I want to provide leadership that works directly with you.

Strengthening safety protocols and anti-bullying measures so every student can attend school free from fear, intimidation, or harm.
Supporting mental health resource access and creating nurturing environments where every single student feels they belong.
Ensuring open board communication, transparent policy decisions, and responsible fiscal stewardship.
Listening and collaborating with teachers and school staff to give them the tools, resources, and respect they deserve.
Addressing the disparities in access to nutritious meals, ensuring every student has the fuel they need to thrive academically and physically.

I bring 20 years of experience serving families and helping individuals navigate challenging times. I've proudly volunteered within the Nuview School District, attended school board meetings, actively participated in DELAC, ELAC, LCAP Committee, and Student Site Council meetings.
